I have A 60GB from 2005, model #A1099.
Will Sharepod work with it, being that it is a relic? .......and if not, can I download the tracks, on a different computer, from the Ipod to iTunes, edit the master playlist there and keep the original files?

Current Step I do to add 1 folder "XYZ SONGS" with 10 Songs to IPOD. Click File->New PlayList-> Then Rename from untitled Playlist to "XYZ SONGS" (KEY:Same as my Folder Name)-> Then Drag the folder "XYZ SONGS" to the Playlist "XYZ SONGS" to add the songs.. BANG they show-up Perfectly.. where my playlist is my FolderName of my Computer and has songs which are inside the folder. IS THERE A EASY WAY IN WHICH MY PLAYLIST CAN BE CREATED BY JUST DRAGGING TO MY IPOD.. LIKE IT PICKS MY FOLDER NAME AS MY PLAYLIST NAME AND TAKES SONGS WHICH ARE INSIDE IT?

You must if you're using iTunes, but other software allows you to put music on without losing your library. <a href="http://www.sturm.net.nz/website.php?Section=iPod+Programs&Page=Sharepod" rel="nofollow">Sharepod</a> allows you to do that.
